Sugo Italian Restaurant
The restaurant’s goal is to bring a taste of Italy to Tuscaloosa. Owned by Christian Williams and managed by Brandon Pitts, the restaurant promises to bring a diverse menu to honor traditional Italian cuisine while also incorporating some American-inspired dishes to cater to a wide range of tastes.
The restaurant is also expected to offer a variety of Mediterranean-inspired dishes. There will also be a drink menu with Italian-inspired cocktails and an extensive wine list.
“At Sugo, our ambition is to become an essential part of Tuscaloosa’s food landscape, joining the ranks of admired establishments such as Southern Ale House, Avenue Pub, and Urban Bar and Kitchen. Our aspiration is for Sugo to be welcomed and cherished by the community, just as these other venues have been. Having collaborated closely with the owners of these local favorites for over two decades, I share a closeness with them. Together, we are united in our commitment to delivering exceptional tastes and service to our town.”
~ Owner Christian Williams
