New Limestone County sports complex proposed for I-565 location

A cooperative effort was announced between Synergy Sports, Limestone County, the City of Decatur and Crossroads LLC to bring a new mixed use sports complex to the Huntsville/Decatur area.
The proposed location of the future complex will be on Highway 20, near the I-65 Huntsville-Decatur interchange.
It will have multiple outdoor baseball/softball diamonds + other flat fields that can host football, soccer or most other outdoor field sports. In addition to this, a future indoor facility is also expected to be constructed, which will increase programming abilities.
