Montgomery Whitewater continues to make a splash with the release of its Fall 2023 live music and events schedule. Mark your calendar for what’s ahead.
1. Golden Hour Festival | Sept. 2-3
Your Labor Day weekend plans are here with Montgomery Whitewater’s Golden Hour Festival. Celebrate the final days of summer with two full days of entertainment. Here’s what’s happening each day:
Saturday, September 2:
- Golden Hour 5K | 7AM
- Lil’ Tri, Kids’ Triathlon | 8-10AM
- Yoga | 8:30AM
- Kid Lot Opens | 10AM
- Kayak Cross | 3-4PM
- Birmingham’s Mountain Grass Unit | 4PM
- Rising country artist, Madeline Edwards | 6PM
- Contemporary blues veterans the North Mississippi Allstars | 8PM
Sunday, September 3:
- Yoga | 9AM
- Freestyle Event | 1-2PM
- Americana artist Early James | 4PM
- Americana artist Oliver Wood Trio | 6PM
- Indie alt-rock band Moon Taxi | 8PM
2. Get Down Concert Series | Thursdays, Sept. 14-Nov. 16
Your Thursday nights are set this fall with this live concert series. Get ready to jam when you view this lineup:
- Grammy-nominated bluegrass singer, songwriter + bassist Missy Raines | Sept. 14, 6-8PM
- Denver-based folk-country band Clay Street Unit | Sept. 21, 6-8PM
- Progressive bluegrass band Nefresh Mountain | Sept. 21, 6-8PM
3. Haystack Festival | Oct. 20-21
