It’s a distillery! A brewery! A restaurant! It’s The Stash House!

Part restaurant, part brewery and part distillery, The Stash House is a one-size-fits-all entertainment hub located in charming Good Hope, Alabama. With live music, cold brews, great food and so much more, The Stash House is a promising addition to the Good Hope community. But it wasn’t always so.

A year ago, the building was a vacant cotton gin and The Stash House was little more than a dream. In early 2021, the Good Hope City Council purchased the building for $500K, with the intent to sell or lease the property to a motivated restaurateur.

Those motivated restaurateurs are Preston Prewett and Pat “Kat Daddy” Watson. Since Kat Daddy owns two nearby restaurants—Kat Daddy’s BBQ & Grill and Rooster’s Corner—he’ll be heading up the restaurant side of The Stash House.

A Much-Needed Entertainment Hub

The Stash House is a welcome addition to the Good Hope dining scene. Until recently, the only eateries in Good Hope have been a handful of fast-food restaurants. If residents of Good Hope wanted a nice sit-down restaurant, they needed to plan a drive to Cullman or beyond.

Since The Stash House opened on July 17th, it’s been a smashing success with the locals. At The Stash House, they can listen to live, local music while enjoying a home-style meal & a refreshing cocktail. What’s not to love?
