Scooter’s Coffee, a popular Nebraska-based drive-thru coffee chain, is expanding its presence in Alabama with a new Florence location. Here’s what you need to know.

According to Times Daily, construction has begun on the new Scooter’s in Florence. Here are the details:
- Location: 2917 Florence Blvd, Florence, AL 35634
- Opening Date: TBA
Once construction starts on a Scooter’s, it usually doesn’t take long before it opens. Be ready to enjoy some coffee, Florence!
Scooter’s Coffee has a growing presence in Alabama
Not familiar with Scooter’s Coffee? Founded in 1998 by Don and Linda Eckles, Scooter’s started as a single drive-thru coffee shop named “Scooter’s Java Express” in Bellevue, Nebraska.
Since then, Scooter’s has rapidly expanded with more than 500 locations across the country, including 10 in Alabama. Soon, that’ll be 11.
The Florence location will add to Scooter’s presence in North Alabama, where they’ve opened shops in Huntsville, Athens, Guntersville and Decatur.
Although Scooter’s is known for its coffee—which you can order hot, blended or iced—the coffee shop also offers smoothies, teas and multiple breakfast food options. Click here to view Scooter’s full menu.
