It’s official—ShoalsFest is returning to Florence with a loaded lineup this October.
Just over a week after teasing a return, the festival released the 2025 lineup on its social media channels + website. Here’s a quick rundown of what you need to know:

Jason Isbell returning home
ShoalsFest was started by Green Hill native Jason Isbell in 2019 and the festival happened again in 2021 + 2022 after being forced to skip 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It was supposed to come back in 2023 but the event was canceled due to a demanding schedule for Isbell. And fans were starting to be concerned the short-lived festival was over for good.
But last week’s teaser video got fans riled up again + the festival delivered the big news Tuesday morning.
Isbell will be back in the Shoals, playing both nights of the event. The lineup graphic makes it look like a set with fellow Shoals natives Patterson Hood and Chris Tompkins on Saturday night + a set with his band, the 400 Unit, on Sunday night.

Pre-sale tickets are available this Thursday, April 10 at 10AM using the passcode: SHOALS
Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, April 11 at 10am CT.
There will also be a local presale held in Sheffield to buy tickets in person. People must provide a valid Alabama state-issued ID between 12-6PM on Friday, April 11 at the Rocker Gallery.
