New steakhouse coming to Northport—here’s the scoop

Livingston, Alabama residents know all about the local steakhouse Diamond Jim’s and Mrs. Donna’s. Soon, Northport locals will also be able to experience their juicy steaks and homey atmosphere. Here’s what you need to know about their new location there.

A new steakhouse for Northport

According to the Tuscaloosa Thread, Diamond Jim’s and Mrs. Donna’s is coming soon to a vacant property on Highway 43. On October 2, the Northport City Council approved economic incentives aimed at drawing the steakhouse to the area, bringing it one step closer to reality.

An opening date is still yet to be announced, but Diamond Jim’s and Mrs. Donna’s will fill a gap in Northport’s food scene when it does arrive.
