NEW: Townhouse development coming to Semmes

The City of Semmes is growing. So much so that city officials announced a new development of almost 150 townhomes will be coming to the area. We’ll tell you everything we know about the townhouse development and some other exciting things in the works for Semmes residents.

Admiral Landing

The City of Semmes announced the addition of 147 townhomes in a Facebook post, saying the “Admiral Landing” complex would go on the east side of Schillinger Road in the Silverpine area.

The homes will be for individual sale, rather than being rentals operated by a management company. Reps for the city did not have pricing details for the houses just yet. It’s estimated that the homes will be complete by the summer of 2026.

Preliminary plans for the development include a roundabout, live oak landscaping and a community pool.

Other developments coming to Semmes

The Admiral Landing subdivision is positioned across the street from an in-progress Publix location and right next to a new storage facility. It’s close to the newly-opened Legacy Trail senior apartment community, too.

The planned Wawa on Schillinger Road in Semmes will be close to this subdivision, as well.
