According to Travel + Leisure, there are nearly 4,000 degree-granting postsecondary schools in the nation spread across every major city and plenty of small towns. That’s a lot to choose from!

Luckily, we’ve got one of the best college cities in the country right here in Alabama—Tuscaloosa! As a University of Alabama alum, I have to agree.
