About Waffles R Wild

Waffles R Wild originated in Rochester, New York, where owner Danielle Duemmel and her father, Michael, built a food truck from the ground up. Their dream? Serve the best, most creative waffles and comfort foods around. On their menu, you’ll find creations such as:

• Waffledillas
• Savory Waffle Chicken Sandwiches + Burgers
• Oreo Wafflewich
• Chicken + Waffle Kabobs

Now, they’re bringing their fun, over-the-top waffles to OWA Parks & Resort in Foley. With elements of speakeasy and casino atmospheres, this is sure to be a fun addition to OWA.

Here’s what owner Danielle Duemmel said in a Facebook post announcing the exciting new location:

“We will be opening in downtown OWA where the previous ‘Valerios’ was located! We are a small, family run business coming from Rochester, New York where our restaurant and food truck business has been thriving since 2018! With dreams of taking our business down south, we have finally taken the steps to come share our fun waffle creations with the residents and visitors of Foley! After many visits and research, we have found our home in Alabama and a place for our unique menu and fun concept to grow and thrive. Between the atmosphere OWA provides and our fun Casino/Speakeasy theme, we can’t wait to provide a fun place for everyone to enjoy”
