For the first time this season, the North Alabama baseball team has gotten to play a true home game.

North Alabama has spent the last 341 days without its own field, playing their “home” games at Young Memorial Field or Toyota Field. The Lions have 11 more home games this season, all of them slated to be played at Lane Field.
While the field is available for use, many areas surrounding the playing field will be off-limits to the general public.
A viewing area will be available above the left field wall in the College View Church of Christ parking lot, as designated by the green highlighted area. This is a pedestrian-only area with no vehicles allowed for safe and comfortable viewing. Fans are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or to stand, as no bleacher seating will be provided.
Food trucks and portable restrooms will be available for fans in attendance.

Thursday’s game was the series opener for the conference series between UNA and Bellarmine.
Fans can head back out to the stadium on Friday or Saturday for the rest of the series. Both games are scheduled for a 2PM first pitch.
