NOW OPEN: Boba + popcorn chicken spot, Quickly, comes to Montgomery
If you haven’t heard, boba tea has become a huge craze over the past few years, and new boba spots have been popping up all over Alabama. However, there’s not many spots where you can order popcorn chicken, takoyaki and egg puffs to go with your tea.
At Montgomery’s newest boba spot, though, you can do just that. Here’s what you need to know about Quickly.
There’s a lot more than boba on Quickly’s menu
The first Quickly opened in 2002 in Southern California (long before many of us had ever tried it), then expanded to over 2,000 locations worldwide. Montgomery, Alabama, is home to one of their newest locations.
Quickly has a creative menu of both food and drinks. Here are some of the dishes you can try at the new Montgomery location:
- Takoyaki (a popular Japanese street food)
- Egg puffs (in flavors like chocolate, cheese + bacon)
- Popcorn chicken
- Red bean sesame balls
- Mochi waffles
But of course, their boba is the headliner. They have countless flavors of milk tea, fruit tea, slushes, sparkling drinks and boba lattes.
