Opelika’s GolfSuites location sets timeline for groundbreaking + opening

Golf experiences—without a trip to the golf course—are becoming more and more popular. It started with TopGolf but there are plenty of other options popping up.

Opelika will soon be home to the state’s first GolfSuites, which is slated to open in 2025. The company says it offers a realistic golf entertainment experience and a holistic game improvement along with a restaurant + bar.

GolfSuites in Alabama

There are two GolfSuites locations opening in Alabama in 2025 with a second spot set to open in Hoover in the summer.

Construction on the first location in Opelika will begin with a groundbreaking ceremony August 13, 2024. The venue will located in the Landings Development at the Tiger Town exit.

Opelika’s location will include:

• 1-story, 6,400 square foot building
• 11+ acres
• 40 hitting bays + driving range
• Putting green
• Restaurant + bar
• Outdoor covered patio + stage
• Private meeting rooms

Currently, GolfSuites has three other locations, all of them college towns, including:

• Tulsa, Oklahoma
• Lubbock, Texas
• Baton Rouge, Louisiana
