Classes and Events
With a gallery full of ceramics, canvases and glassware to choose from, guests can drop in and pick a piece to paint or engrave anytime during walk-in hours. Inventory is consistently restocked with a wide variety of pottery.
The Art Bar also accommodates group bookings daily—perfect for birthdays, date nights and team outings. If the studio isn’t the right fit, events can be moved to wherever is most convenient.
This summer, The Art Bar is hosting their first summer camps. Camp activities include pottery painting, canvas painting, tie dye t-shirts, rock painting, friendship bracelet making and face painting for all ages. Each week has a different theme to suite every child’s interest.
Art Commissions
For those who trust the pros, The Art Bar provides custom-made banners, door hangers, calligraphy and more available for commission.
“My hand-painted banners will always be my absolute favorite things to paint to this day.”
Maggi Powell, owner of The Art Bar

In a town known for its busy student life, The Art Bar offers something refreshingly hands-on. Whether you’re polishing your painting skills or looking for a unique outing with friends, the studio is Tuscaloosa’s latest must-visit for all artists.
