Keeping Wetumpka Trending
From a tiny town whose biggest attraction was a CVS to a booming little town with cool shops and places to eat, Wetumpka has undergone many changes over the past few years.
With help from HGTV’s Home Town Takeover in 2020, the town’s charming downtown got a sparkling update with 12 major renovations, including restaurants, shops and other public buildings for the entire town to enjoy.
One business that has been kickin’ it in Wetumpka since before the town takeover is the Coosa River Craft House. The business opened in 2019 and quickly became a regular spot for locals to grab a beer. Originally located on Main Street, you can now find the Craft House next to George’s Market at a brand-new location at 191 Spring Street.
What to Expect 🍻
Coosa River Craft House’s new space offers the same grab-a-casual-drink-with-friends vibe as before with a fresh list of draft beers offered daily. Here’s a look at some of the brews they serve:
- Big Talk, IPA – American
- ‘Nother Beautiful Day, IPA – Imperial/Double
- Suzy B, Blonde Ale
- Something Cold, Blonde Ale
- 1890 Founder’s Ale, Red Ale – American Amber/Bed
While the Craft House doesn’t serve food, they do encourage you to bring in your own from local eaters nearby.
