Robinson and Spurrier Honored in 2022
The Nick Saban Legacy Award (NSLA) is a national award created in 2022 to honor and recognize the lifetime achievement of a college coach and his contributions to the game of football.
Coach Steve Spurrier and the late Coach Eddie Robinson were the inaugural recipients in 2022. The Quarterbacking Children’s Health Foundation has established the award to be named annually in honor of the amazing achievements of Coach Nick Saban. This award celebrates his contributions to the game of football his community and his development of young men and coaches as they further their own careers.
“Coach Saban and each honoree embody those characteristics at the highest level. We are so proud to recognize Coach Vince Dooley of Georgia, and Coach Bill Snyder of Kansas State, this year!” said Robbie Robertson, Quarterbacking Children’s Health Foundation Trustee and Chairman of the NSLA Committee.
