The Saban Center has announced a partnership with Stillman College in its ongoing efforts to expand and promote STEM and arts education throughout the state of Alabama.

The Saban Center, founded by legendary Alabama football coach Nick Saban and his wife Terry, has partnered with multiple groups in recent years to create STEM and arts education programs for children, including Shelton State Community College and the University of Alabama. Stillman now joins that strategic partnership and will work alongside the Saban Center to create innovative programming and enrichment initiatives for campus visitors.

“I am thrilled to see Stillman College partner with the Saban Center to create new opportunities in STEM and the arts for our community. This collaboration not only enriches our educational landscape but also empowers our youth to explore their passions and potential. Together, we can inspire the next generation of innovators and creators in West Alabama.”

The Saban Center is currently in the process of creating a new multi-million dollar facility in downtown Tuscaloosa that will serve as the new home of Tuscaloosa Children’s Theatre and Ignite, formerly the Children’s Hands-On Museum of Tuscaloosa with plans to open in 2027. Stillman president Yolanda Page says partnering with the Saban Center’s educational efforts is an investment in the future of Tuscaloosa and West Alabama.

“We are delighted to join the Saban Center to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people in our community. Collaborations like this strengthen our community ties and allow us to build on our shared commitment to education, ultimately benefiting everyone who lives, works, and studies in Tuscaloosa and its surrounding areas.”
