Saraland opens final phase of $72M sports complex

After nearly two years of construction, the City of Saraland has officially fully opened its new sports complex.
The Land at Saraland is a 100-acre facility located just off Celeste Road in the west part of the city. This week marked the opening of the final three baseball + softball fields, completing the diamond complex which includes:
- Entrance plaza
- Concessions
- Restrooms
- 16 batting cages
- 8 total fields
“This addition expands opportunities for local leagues, regional tournaments and year-round programming, bringing more athletes, families and visitors to Saraland. We are proud to see The Land continue to grow as a destination for sports, recreation and community connection.”

The full complex is now open in Saraland including a 78,000-square foot indoor facility that opened in November 2025 which includes:
- 4 basketball courts
- 8 volleyball courts
- 12 pickleball courts
- Indoor track
- Indoor concessions
It also houses The Fitness Den, a full-service fitness center offering monthly and annual memberships.
