Reading time: 3 minutes
Sean Dietrich, better known as “Sean of the South,” has reached a big milestone in his multifaceted creative career—his very first album release. To mark the occasion, he’s having both a performance and a party at the Grand Old Opry. Here’s what you need to know about both of these events (that you’re invited to!).
Sean of the South is performing and having a party
Sean of the South moved to Birmingham in 2022 (after telling stories in Cahaba Heights in 2019), but he’s about to take a trip up north to Nashville for a special day.
On September 22, the popular author, podcaster, and musician will be performing at the one-and-only Grand Ole Opry.
He made this exciting announcement via social media, using his friendly, lighthearted voice. He prefaced the announcement with, “I cannot believe I’m writing this,” and ended it with, “Also, I’m not crying as I write this. It’s the pollen.”
Here’s the details on the show:
- Location: Grand Ole Opry, Nashville, TN
- Date: Friday, September 22, 7PM
- Event Details
But the excitement doesn’t stop with the show. Afterwards, there will be a Sean of the South album release party, during which he will be “playing music and hugging necks” to celebrate the release of his very first album. The best part? He invited his fans to come.
Sean of the South is a multi-talented Birmingham resident
Sean of the South is known for his creative genius, and he has amassed a large following on social media (over 333K followers on Facebook).
The opening line of his biography on his website reads:
