2026 is starting off strong for Bama fans! On January 1, 2026, our Alabama Crimson Tide will take on the Indiana Hoosiers in the 112th Rose Bowl game. But before that, the Million Dollar Band will make an appearance in the “Grandaddy of Them All®” — The Tournament of Roses Parade.

The Million Dollar Band is headed back to California

Under the direction of Ken Ozzello, the University of Alabama’s Million Dollar Band made an appearance in the 2024 Rose Parade, and they’re headed to California again!

According to its website, Million Dollar Band members represent majors in almost every school and department within the university, and the band is easily the largest student organization on campus.

You can see (and hear) this million-dollar sound for yourself:

  • What: 137th Tournament of the Roses Parade
  • When: Thursday, January 1 | Parade begins at 8AM
  • Where: Pasadena, California, but you can stream it online

Stick around until Rose Bowl kickoff at 3PM to watch the Crimson Tide.

Fun fact: Another Alabama school will be represented in California. The Homewood High School Patriot Band is set to perform in the Tournament of the Roses Parade for a sixth time. And Jax State’s Marching Band will make its first appearance in the Rose Parade in 2027!
