Who doesn’t want these delicious goodies in their life? Photo via Fairhope Chocolate

Fairhope Chocolate is a boutique chocolate shop that used to be located in the Fairhope French Quarter. Now that the shop is moving to a bigger and better location, we figured there’s no time like the present to show all the amazing goodies Fairhope Chocolate has to offer.

At Fairhope Chocolate, the focus is 100% on the homemade goodies, many of which are made in-house by knowledgeable staff who love chocolate as much as you do. Fairhope Chocolate is your destination for all-things chocolate like pralines, truffles, turtles, and so much more. They’ve also got homemade sorbets and gelato for those days the Fairhope heat is getting to you. Don’t forget their freshly baked goods. It’s no wonder with a product line this huge they’re expanding to a new, larger space on Fairhope Avenue.

There’s no official set date for Fairhope Chocolate to reopen in their new location, but according to their social media this morning, they’re working around the clock to get the new location open by Thursday so they’re open for Fairhope’s Lighting of the Trees this week.

Let’s take a look at some of the specific reasons you’ll fall in love with Fairhope Chocolate.

1. The chocolate

Between gourmet chocolates imported from Belgium to handmade Southern classics like pralines, Fairhope Chocolate has you covered when it comes to all-things chocolate. Here’s just some of the chocolatey goodness you can get there:

  • Neuhaus Chocolates, which are gourmet Belgian chocolates, so delicious and 100% worth a try
  • Southern pralines
  • Chocolate bark, with all sorts of toppings and inclusions
  • Homemade caramels
  • So much more!

2. The other delicious goodies

You visit for the chocolate, you stay for the other goodies, I promise. Between lovely and creamy gelatos and sorbets, to freshly baked breads to cakes and brownies, Fairhope Chocolate has all that and a bag of…candy! Here’s a small sampling of some of their other products:

  • Gelato/sorbet in a bunch of delicious flavors
  • Freshly baked bread loaves and croissants
  • Homemade pound cake, cupcakes, and brownies
  • All fresh and made in-store!

3. Chef Julie

Chef Julie is the woman at the helm of Fairhope Chocolate! As the owner and head chef, Julie has made quite the name for herself by making quality chocolate and connections with the community. She regularly runs kid’s classes, where she teaches them the basics of baking through fun activities. She’s the reason the chocolate is so delicious and the experience is so good. Make sure you say hi when you pop in to see her!

Fairhope Chocolate will be reopening their location at 403 Fairhope Avenue sometime this week (hopefully!). Stay tuned on their social media for all the details about the new shop.
