Happy small biz Monday, Mobile! Now that Halloween is over, we’ve all got our sights set on those wintery holidays—Thanksgiving and Christmas. And what would Thanksgiving be without a killer outfit? What would Christmas be without adorable stocking stuffers? Meet The Mix in Mobile, a boutique that’s sure to have everything from your Thanksgiving fit to Christmas goodies all the women in your life will adore.
About The Mix
When Carolin Ward founded The Mix in 2019, the goal seemed simple enough—create a boutique full of curated goods that served more than one audience. Some designer brands, some cheaper brands, everything in all sizes. And that’s just what she’s done here at The Mix.
“But it’s not just any store, it’s a store that’s REAL through and through. She wears the clothes. She runs the store. The Mix isn’t some faceless corporation where the final decisions are made in the 10th story of an office thousands of miles away by male CEO #6. This is a woman-owned business for women.”

1. The clothes
Now, I think it says something when a 20-something can walk into a boutique with her mom and they both leave with products they’re happy with. I mean, if you want range in your clothing selection, look no further. They’ve got the big brands you love, the small shops you’ve never heard of, and just about everything in between.

2. All the accessories!
Shoes, purses, earrings, even some home decor—you name it, The Mix has got it! Seriously, whenever I need a birthday present for one of my girlfriends, this is the first place I go.
Crimson tide earrings? They’ve got it. Auburn earrings? That too. A full outfit for any occasion is easy at The Mix, accessories and all.
3. The online store
If you’re feeling bummed because you can’t make it to The Mix soon, worry no further! They’ve got an online store filled with all the same goodies you’d stop by to see in-store. My friends and I love it because it saves us from non-buyer’s remorse (you know, the thing when you put something down and then break your own heart because you didn’t buy it).
