Small Biz Monday: 3 reasons to love all 4 Soul Bowlz locations around Mobile Bay
Another week, another small business Monday! This week, we’re talking all about Soul Bowlz, a lovely health-conscious smoothie bowl place full of all the great ingredients you’ll want to help you health-food away any weekend regrets.
1. A great, healthy menu
When was the last time you had a smoothie and didn’t instantly feel 100% healthier? Never, right? Soul Bowlz is here to help with that, with their huge menu full of fresh fruits, antioxidant blends, and vitamin scoops to add into your favorite smoothie bowl.
The bowls are typically built with a fruity, antioxidant-filled “base” that can be made of acai berry, acerola (a tropical cherry that blends beautifully), graviola (which is kind of like a mix of banana and mango), or pitaya (a dragonfruit blend). From there, the toppings combinations are endless!
For your first visit, we recommend you try one of the bowls on their menu. Our personal favorite? The Spirit Bowl, made with an acai blend, hemp granola, kiwi, banana, coconut shreds, and honey.
They’ve got more than just smoothie bowls too (although we definitely recommend a bowl), you can get a classic smoothie, yogurt parfaits, protein-packed “energy balls”, and so much more.
2. Totally zen atmosphere
Ever looking to mix up your usual coffee-shop-work situation? Soul Bowlz is a great place to hunker down and get some work done. They have tons of cozy, cushy couches and chairs, tables and chairs, and don’t forget the free WiFi. The Old Shell location is right by both the University of South Alabama and Spring Hill College, so chances are you won’t be the only one getting some work done.
