Snow covers northern half of Alabama [PHOTOS]

We knew snow was on the way but there’s still not many things that compare to waking up to snow blanketing the ground, trees and roads. At least for us here in Alabama.
Our team has been out and about in the snow around their own homes from Huntsville down to Birmingham.
Don’t forget to stay off the roads if possible. Many counties in north Alabama have shut down roads to everyone except emergency vehicles.
