Reading time: 2 minutes

There has never been a regular season college basketball game with this much hype in the state of Alabama.
When our state is home to the top-two ranked teams + rivalry bragging rights are on the line, the excitement levels go off the charts. And that was clear this week in Tuscaloosa as students were camped outside Coleman Coliseum as early as Thursday, almost 48 hours before tip off.
ESPN’s College Gameday was also in town, allowing students into the building at 8AM and guaranteeing the first ones in a seat for a 3PM tip off.
Pizza delivery from the team
Some members of the Alabama team including coach Nate Oats showed their appreciation for the fans who were already in line Friday night.
The ones dedicated enough to stay in the night on the concrete around Coleman Coliseum got a free pizza delivery from the Crimson Tide.
