Blakelee Davis, a 13-year-old from Harpersville, is an 8th grade student at Vincent Middle High School. She and her family live on a quiet cattle farm.

After being named Miss Heart of the South Junior Teen at the Alabama state pageant in November, she advanced to the national competition in Orlando, Florida in July. There, she competed against 40 young women between the ages of 13 and 15 to win Miss Ultimate USA Junior Teen.

Davis reigned supreme at the pageant in many categories. In the interview portion — which her mother said was at first a big obstacle for her to overcome — she scored the highest, not just in her age group, but also among every division ages 13 through 27.

In addition to taking home the Miss Ultimate USA Junior Teen crown and sash, she was named Most Photogenic and Miss Congeniality.

She received a $5,000 scholarship, and throughout her year with the crown, she will go on several trips representing the program — recently, the Miss Ultimate USA winners went to Charleston, South Carolina.

For her service initiative, Davis makes “emergency kits for girls” and distributes them to local school nurses. The kits include:

  • Period pads and liners
  • Hand sanitizer
  • A small treat and sticker
  • A handwritten note from Davis

Miss Ultimate USA Princess: Logan Kent

Logan Kent hails from the heart of Chelsea, and she just had her first day of elementary school.

At the Miss Ultimate USA pageant, she competed against 26 girls between the ages of 7 and 9 in several competitions. In addition to the Miss Ultimate USA Princess title, she won the princess division interview, overall junior division interview, fitness, community service and ultimate influencer junior division.

She also won a competition hosted by Rhinestone Sugar Couture, a fashion brand serving tweens and teens, which means she will work the runway during New York Fashion Week.

Her service initiative, “Be An A.C.E with Love, Logan,” enables her to serve local children, seniors and animals.

“This has been the most incredible experience of my life. I’m so proud to represent not just Alabama, but every girl who’s ever been told their dreams are too big.”
