For 38 years, Condé Nast, the global lifestyle and travel publication, has asked its readers to tell them where the best resorts, cruises, spas and friendliest cities are. Included in their survey is the question, “Where are the best beaches in the U.S.?”

According to more than 757,000 respondents to the Reader’s Choice questionnaire, Alabama’s own Orange Beach is the 10th best beach.

“Repping Alabama‘s colorful Gulf Coast, Orange Beach cracks into the top 10. Loaded with plenty of beach town charm, epic water sports are the name of the game here, whether you’re itching to hang 10, rip across the waves on a jet ski, or leisurely paddle board while working on your tan.”

The magazine also gave a shoutout to the Orange Beach Indian and Sea Museum in addition to the highly acclaimed Gulf State Park Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail.

Pensacola Beach tops list

Who topped the best beach list in the U.S.? Nearby Florida beaches Pensacola Beach and Navarre Beach, as well as five beaches from Hawaii.
