In 2013, co-founders Megan and Wade Preston launched their first cafe in downtown Auburn. The success was overwhelming, leading the pair to start roasting and serving ethically sourced, sustainably grown coffee across the state.

Over the years, Prevail Union has expanded from their little operation in Auburn to locations in Montgomery, Atlanta and most recently in downtown Birmingham’s Shipt tower.

Best brews in the state

Prevail Union Coffee is no stranger to praise– co-founder Wade Preston has won several US Coffee Championship competitions as well as being mentioned in the New York Times’ guide to 36 hours in Montgomery.

Prevail offers all kinds of original coffee flavors, brewing equipment and even a coffee subscription service. Whether you get your Prevail coffee at the cafe or brew it at home, this is a must-try Alabama coffee spot.
