37th Annual Jubilee Festival of Arts—Event Details

Set in the heart of Olde Towne Daphne, the festival takes over Lott Park on Main Street, bringing with it two full days of art showcases, local eats, live music and family-friendly fun along the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay.

Now in its 37th year, the Jubilee Festival of Arts has become a fall favorite for locals and visitors alike. This event promises fresh energy and the same artistic excellence the community has come to expect.

Festival-goers can explore a wide range of original art including jewelry, paintings, pottery, sculpture, woodwork, mixed media and more.

Why the name “Jubilee?”

Daphne isn’t known as “The Jubilee City” for nothing.

A Jubilee is a rare natural phenomenon that occurs only on the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay, when deep, salty, oxygen-poor water rises with the tide. Fish and shellfish caught in these low-oxygen pockets get swept to shore, providing locals with a bounty of fresh blue crabs, shrimp and fish—often gathered by the bucketful.

It’s an event that feels part mystery, part celebration. The Jubilee Festival of Arts honors this unique occurrence and the vibrant coastal culture that surrounds it.
