Tide wins 5th consecutive Womenβs Wheelchair Basketball national title [PHOTOS]

The University of Alabama Womenβs Wheelchair Basketball team won its 5th consecutive national championship, on its home court at Stran-Hardin Arena.
On March 9th, the Crimson Tide held off the University of Texas at Arlington 75-57 in the championship game of the Women’s Intercollegiate Wheelchair Basketball National Tournament.
Undefeated wheelchair basketball champs

In addition to the national championship victory, the 2024 team finished the year undefeated with a perfect 25-0 record in intercollegiate play.
This is also the 10th national championship in the programβs history.

On March 14-16, the Tideβs Menβs Wheelchair Basketball team begins its defense of the teamβs 2023 national title at Southwest Minnesota State University This year they are seeded third in the tournament with a 20-6 record.
