Troy has now won at least 22 games in six of the last seven seasons. This is the eighth time the Trojans have made it to either the NCAA Tournament or the NIT under coach Chanda Rigby.

This year’s team is led Zay Dyer who averages 13.8 points + 10.3 rebounds per game. Dyer has recorded 17 double-doubles this season including two during the NIT.

In every NIT game so far, Troy has seen five players reach double figures in scoring. As a team, the Trojans have averaged 90 points per game through the first three rounds.

If Troy wins Wednesday night, the Trojans will play the winner of the Cleveland State-Buffalo semifinal. The NIT will announce the host site of the championship after the two semifinals.

The university will also be hosting an official watch party in town.
