Whether you’re looking for a family-friendly 5K, a short-but-festive fun run, or a Thanksgiving half marathon, Alabama has a packed lineup of seasonal races that are sure to kick off your holiday on the right foot.
Wagner’s Turkey Trot – Tuscaloosa

- Details: Kick off Thanksgiving week with family, friends, and the Tuscaloosa running community on Saturday. This is a 2-mile that race will start at Wagner’s Team Sports in Northport, and all proceeds benefit Magic Moments, Alabama’s child wish-granting charity.

Fort Rucker Turkey Trot 5K – Fort Rucker
- What: Fort Rucker Turkey Trot 5K

- Details: Runners of all levels are welcome to join the fun at the annual Fort Rucker Turkey Trot 5K hosted at the Fortenberry-Colton Physical Fitness Center. Turkeys will be awarded to the overall winners, grandmasters and all first-place finishers across 11 age groups.
