Reading time: 3 minutes

Have you ever driven by the Government Plaza on a spring evening and seen a crowd + dozens of tents?
That’s Tuscaloosa’s Druid City Arts Fest.
The annual festival features several live performances, art vendors, food trucks + more. Read further to see more from this year’s event.
How it started

DCAF started with a few University of Alabama freshmen who saw a gap in the community.
They wanted something to celebrate art, culture, + the people. Thus, creating the first Druid City Arts Fest in 2010. 60 artists displayed their work, and 7,500 people attended throughout the festival.
The festival has now partnered with Tour De Tuscaloosa to make the festival a long-lasting event.
