Each year, ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit presents his “Herbie Awards” highlighting his favorite things for the upcoming college football season.

Herbstreit showcased his favorite players, fanbases, restaurants and more during an hour-long special on ESPN the night before the first College Gameday show of the year.

And this year, FIVE Tuscaloosa got the Herbie for the Favorite Gameday Restaurant. The restaurant was also given the award in 2016.

What is FIVE Tuscaloosa?

FIVE Tuscaloosa was built to simplify going out to eat. The menu isn’t expansive but that’s by design. They stick to the theme of doing everything by their name — FIVE.

That’s five dinner options, five lunch options, five brunch options, five craft beers, five signature cocktails, five red wines, five white wines. Do I need to go on?

“There are many complications in life – dining out shouldn’t be one of them. We invite you to our restaurant so that you can see what a difference a commitment to simplicity, good food, and stellar service can have when dining out.”
