America’s Best Restaurants, an online show highlighting, well, America’s best restaurants, just made two stops in Alabama. Keep reading to find out more about Front Porch Grill and Pappy’s Place.
About Front Porch Grill
Marty Bean and his wife Jessica bought Front porch Grill in 2003, and ever since then, they’ve been serving up classic Southern food done right in the small town of Millbrook, Alabama.
Offering old-school style breakfast platters, meat-and-three plates, steaks, sandwiches and other Southern favorites like fried green tomatoes and country fried steak, filling hundreds of bellies each day.
Soon, the local favorite will be spotlighted on a national level with an appearance on America’s Best Restaurants after filming on January 18.
About Pappy’s Place
It seems while the America’s Best Restaurants crew was in Alabama, they made a stop at another eatery—Pappy’s Place in Scottsboro. Known for their over-the-top burger creations, floats and sundaes, this old-school eatery does is all about homemade Southern comfort food.
On Friday, January 19, America’s Best Restaurants went live on Facebook, showing their audience the behind-the-scenes of filming at Pappy’s Place.
