U.S. News and World Report ranks Huntsville 3rd best place to live in America

Big news for Huntsville! The U.S. News & World Report has ranked the Rocket City as the third best place to live in the United States. Home to NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, Redstone Arsenal and the new Mazda/Toyota plant, the Huntsville metro area leapfrogged other U.S. boomtowns, like Austin and Nashville to take home the bronze in this year’s ranking.

Why Does U.S. News Love Huntsville?

Huntsville has attractions for all walks of life. Space lovers can learn about space exploration at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center. Art enthusiasts can visit Lowe Mill Arts & Entertainment to support spunky distinctive local artists. Foodies can enjoy the freshest restaurants in the walkable downtown area.

For sports lovers, everyone is a fan of the Huntsville metro area’s minor league baseball team the Rocket City Trash Pandas. And let’s not forget the Huntsville Havoc minor league professional hockey team at the Von Braun Center. This diverse array of activities guarantees unending entertainment.

Huntsville is reaching for the stars. Since the U.S. News and World Report last report, Huntsville has moved 15th place to 3rd passing places like Seattle and Denver. 

2022?  Watch out Boulder, Colorado this year’s #1 ranked city. The Rocket City is coming for the winning title.
