Calling all Wallace State Community College students! There are just a few more days to sign up to be in an upcoming episode of an Amazon Prime TV Series.

“The College Tour” profiles colleges from around the country, bringing the touring experience to students who may not be able to travel around to different schools.

Currently, the only other Alabama college or university that has been profiled is Alabama A&M University — check out season 12, episode 6 on Amazon Prime.

The Prime show’s website says “each student-driven segment gives the audience an inside look at what it’s truly like being a student at the featured college or university.”

Wallace State students who are cast get a handful of benefits:

  • Being featured on a TV show
  • Getting a resume boost to stand out
  • Access to The College Tour’s LinkedIn group to connect with students across the country

To apply, Wallace State is asking for students to upload a two-minute audition video explaining who they are, their area of study and why they love their college.

They are looking for students who can speak to specific topics, including:

  • Student resources
  • Academics
  • Transfer
  • Health sciences
  • Applied technologies
  • Student life
  • Intramurals
  • Career and workforce training
  • Dual enrollment
  • Athletics
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Fine/Performing arts
  • Military-friendly campus
  • Your WSCC story

Are you up to the task? Apply at this link by Sunday, Aug. 31 for a chance to be featured in the series.
