Less than 30 seconds into her blind audition performance on NBC’s The Voice, Kirbi turned two chairs. And the two other judges followed shortly after.

The Florence native sang God Only Knows by For King & Country, showing off a wide range of vocals. Niall Horan and Michael Bublé were the first two to turn their chairs with Reba and Snoop Dogg joining moments later.

“We wait all day for voices like yours. This is absolutely incredible. From second one, I was all in. The vocal delivery you just gave there was next level.”

Niall Horan

That feedback clearly resonated with Kirbi as she would select Horan to be her coach for the season.

Keep reading to learn more about Kirbi’s performance on the big stage + how you can watch her on the show going forward.

Kirbi

Before taking the stage at Universal Studios, Kirbi did not show many nerves but just wanted to start signing.

“If a chair turned for me, it would absolutely change my life. I have never done anything like this before. I want this opportunity to prove myself to me and to the rest of the world that I do have what it takes, and I can do this.”

Kirbi

Since 2023, Kirbi has worked on building a name for herself in the crowded music world that is in Nashville. She has released two singles + performed vocals with some big stars in the past including Jelly Roll.

Most recently, Kirbi has since recorded as a vocalist on multiple projects with Black River Entertainment and collaborated with legendary producer and songwriter Tommy Sims.

Now, she has a chance to be the star of the show as she officially joins The Voice as a member of Team Niall.

Before she chose her team, the other three coaches had a chance to pitch themselves to Kirbi, including Reba McEntire who might seem to fit Kirbi’s southern style voice a little bit more.

“You’ve got the whole package. You’re absolutely beautiful, you sing absolutely beautiful, you sound very grounded for as young as you are. But we’re so proud to have you here. Best of luck.”

Reba McEntire

Snoop Dogg took some time to connect with Kirbi on a personal level, having the singer bring her mother out on stage to join her in front of the coaches.

“Your mother did such an amazing job with keeping you grounded and raising you the right way. She should be commended, so that’s why I want her to stand by your side while I say what I’m going to say to you. The music that you chose and the way that you stand on your faith is beautiful. The world that we live in right now with so much negativity, and for you to stand for what’s right, I applaud you for that. No matter what team you pick, you’re part of a real family that is strong in faith.”
