Week 3 highlighted by pair of trips to Big Ten country: Full schedule + how to watch

For the first time since 1928, the Alabama Crimson Tide is traveling to Madison, Wisconsin to take on the Badgers in a regular season non-conference game.
Alabama enters as the No. 4 team in the country and is a two-touchdown favorite but this will be by far the team’s toughest test so far this season. Wisconsin is also undefeated after the first two weeks of the season and is looking for its first win over an SEC team since beating LSU in 2016.
But that is just one of many games featuring our in-state teams to keep an eye on this weekend. Games start Thursday night so let’s dive in, starting with a quick rundown of last week’s games.
Week 2 recap
There’s no denying it was a tough week for in-state teams. A mix of difficult road trips and some disappointing home performances turned into a losing record but there was plenty to learn from.

Week 3 TV schedule
Alabama is not the only team with a big road trip this week. Troy will also travel north to take on Iowa while UAB hits the road to take on SEC foe Arkansas.
Meanwhile, Alabama State will take the short trip up I-65 for an in-state matchup with Samford.
