Staying weather aware

Rock The South has certainly dealt with rain in past years. (Anna Niblett / The Bama Buzz)

As with any summer weekend in Alabama, weather could bring some surprises throughout the festival. Rain is expecting to show up but how much or how severe is tough to predict.

Here’s a quick look at the current weather forecast in Cullman:

  • Thursday: 86/69, 40% chance of rain
  • Friday: 79/68, 74% chance of rain
  • Saturday: 82/69, 54% chance of rain

The festival has dealt with rain and storms in past years. It generally continues rain or shine but certain severe conditions could cause delays.

In the event of severe weather conditions, such as lightning, hail, or other elements, the festival organizers collaborate with the Cullman Emergency Management Agency to prioritize the safety of attendees, volunteers, sponsors, and vendors.

For further details about the festival’s evacuation policies or any other questions related to this, reach out to info@rockthesouth.com. Your safety and well-being are of the utmost importance to us, and we are prepared to respond to severe weather situations accordingly.
