2 Alabama schools among best value colleges in the country

The latest college rankings from U.S. News & World Report are in and two schools in the Birmingham area were recognized among the best value colleges in the country.
Samford ranked No. 1 as the Best Value among all Alabama four-year universities and ranked 108th in the country. It’s the second consecutive year the publication has ranked Samford as the Best Value among Alabama universities.
Montevallo once again led the list as the state’s top “regional university” for Best Value and ranked No. 6 in Best Value Schools overall among Regional Universities in the South. The school is the only institution in Alabama to earn a top 10 ranking in this category for six consecutive years.
