3 fun ways to give Mom an experience in Mobile this Mother’s Day
A week from today (so May 9!) is Mother’s Day. That just made you panic a little bit, didn’t it? Mother’s day gifts are hard! After elementary school, the arts-and-crafts just don’t cut it anymore. Plus, does Mom really need another monogrammed pot-holder? And don’t you dare get her a vacuum or some other housework device. So with all the contingencies in mind, what to get the woman who gave you life?

1. Explore the City
Take Mom out for a day (or a night) on the town! There seriously is so much fun to be had by walking around Downtown Mobile for a bit. Our favorite thing to look for are the gorgeous murals, but between the art galleries, awesome places to eat, and cute little shops, there is absolutely no shortage of fun downtown.

2. Paint and Sip
If your momma is the crafty type, why not try a wine and paint night? Though many wine & paint places had to shut down their storefronts due to COVID-19, places like Paint Party Studios right here in Mobile will provide an entire paint & sip kit, complete with traced canvases for your party to paint!
This is the perfect one-and-done gift for Mom! Get a few bottles of her favorite wine, a few of her favorite kids, and get to painting!
3. Outdoor Fun
The Port City has absolutely no shortage of awesome outdoor hangs for any earthy Mommas out there! Of course, there’s the beach and Dauphin Island! Whether Mom wants something a bit more refined, like the Mobile Botanical Gardens; or something a bit more rugged, like Gulf State Park, there’s an outdoor experience to fit every family this Mother’s Day.
