3 reasons you need to go to Huntsville’s Friday Night Art Walk on September 10

Don’t miss out on your chance to go to Huntsville’s Friday Night Art Walk on September 10. Held only one Friday a month, the Huntsville Friday Night Art Walk is something to look forward to. Here are all the details.

1. You can meet local artists

On the second Friday of the month from May to October, Friday Night Art Walks take place in Downtown Huntsville. Here, you’ll find local artists set up around the Courthouse Square from 5-8 PM. The artists bring paintings, jewelry, home decor, wooden toys and other handmade items.

You can get to know the artists by visiting their table and striking up conversation. If you find an artist you love, you can even bring home something they’ve made. It makes the evening and the piece so special!

The list of vendors changes every month, don’t miss out on any artists or great pieces!

2. You can stay safe outside

We’ve recently been trying to find more things to do outside. Friday Night Art Walks are the perfect opportunity to get your walking shoes on, grab family or friends and check out the tables outside.

You can move at your own pace and enjoy the fresh Alabama air as you do. This is a great chance to spend time with loved ones and meet new people, while being safe.

3. You can take your purple cup along with you

Huntsville consists of four entertainment districts. Within these districts, you’re able to carry and consume your drink of choice in a very distinctive purple cup. The Friday Night Art Walk can be found in the Quigley district, so it is fair game for purple cups. This makes for a fun experience. You can even make a whole night of it, by visiting a downtown restaurant or bar before the Art Walk.

You can get a purple cup and a drink at any restaurant or bar within the district.
