4 bubble tea places to check out in “Tea-Town”

What could be better than bubble tea in “Tea-Town”? From Boba Mania’s popular Brown Sugar Milk tea to Ichiban’s seasonal Watermelon Boba, there’s a perfect tea for everyone. Here are 4 spots you need to try in Tuscaloosa.

1. Boba Mania

Before stepping inside BobaMania, you can already smell the warm brown sugar used to make the boba. BobaMania was the first standalone boba shop to open in Tuscaloosa and continues to be a popular bubble tea place with exciting new flavors.

This summer, they’re offering original summer drinks like Honeydew, Sangria and Orange Creamcisle. In addition to their seasonal flavors, BobaMania offers classic options like their original Brown Sugar Boba and Taro Milk Tea.

2. Fuku Ramen

Ramen and bubble tea are truly better together. At Fuku Ramen, you can order a variety of bubble teas along with a bowl of ramen. In addition to their Classic Milk Tea, Fuku Ramen offers unique flavors such as Red Bean Milk Tea and Honey Aloe Green Tea.

3. Mr.Chen’s

Part grocery store, part Chinese restaurant, Mr.Chen’s is a popular spot for students and locals alike. After perusing the aisles of the grocery store, stop by the restaurant to try authentic Chinese food and bubble tea—in fun flavors like Tapioca Milk Tea and Tapicaoca Cappucino. 

4. Ichiban
