1. HARDY + Lainey Wilson—Tuscaloosa
The duo that made the hit “Wait in the Truck” is taking the stage in Tuscaloosa. HARDY, the country up-and-comer, has already won many awards since his first #1 single in 2018, and he’s even written a #1 double platinum single, “ONE BEER.” Lainey Wilson, ACM New Female of the Year 2022, will be joining HARDY along with Dylan Marlowe for an unforgettable night of country music.

2. Drivin’ n’ Cryin’—Fairhope
Enjoy beautiful downtown Fairhope and rock out with Drivin’ n’ Cryin’ on September 15. The iconic Southern rock band has been around since 1985, and they’re still drawing large crowds.
Their performance in Fairhope is part of the Live at Five Concert Series, which started in 2017 and takes place in the beautiful, open-air Halstead Amphitheater. Jenna McClellan will be opening for Drivin’ n’ Cryin’, and Johnny Hayes will be performing a solo.

3. Montgomery Symphony Orchestra presents Star Wars—Montgomery
Star Wars fans, this one’s for you. The Montgomery Symphony Orchestra will be performing Star Wars: A New Hope in Concert—but it won’t just be the nostalgic John Williams soundtrack. The movie will be playing on the giant screen while the Montgomery Symphony Orchestra accompanies it live.

4. Lana Del Rey—Huntsville
After Lana Del Rey made several appearances in Alabama this summer, fans were ecstatic to hear that she’s coming back—this time for a performance. The singer-songwriter—with a style that’s hard to put a label on—will be stopping at the Orion Amphitheater on a rare tour with 12 stops in September and October. While tickets sold out fast, there are still resales available on TicketMaster.

5. The Band Camino—Birmingham
On Spotify, The Band Camino has a simple bio: “your mom’s favorite band.” Jeffery Jordan, Spencer Stewart and Garrison Burgess, known for their indie-rock hits like “Daphne Blue” and “Last Man in the World,” will be taking the stage in Birmingham this September on their “Screaming in the Dark” tour.

6. Cheap Trick—Albertville
In 2016, Cheap Trick was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame by Kid Rock after building a legacy for many years. The website describes the band as, “Fun-loving, mischievous and cartoony,” which is the perfect way to sum up their entertaining, captivating shows. In September, they’ll be performing one of those shows at the Sand Mountain Amphitheater.

7. Martina McBride—Wetumpka
Martina McBride, one of the biggest names in country music, is taking the stage at the Wind Creek Hotel in Wetumpka this September. The multiple Grammy nominee (with too many awards to list) already has a sold-out show, but keep an eye out for resale tickets.
