Mobile County Animal Shelter, which has currently reached capacity, has temporarily lowered the adoption fees of adult dogs to $20 and puppies to $40. Adoption fees include vaccines, spay/neuter, and microchips.

2. Mobile SPCA has plenty of whiskers and tails to choose from

In addition to a spay/neuter, vaccines, and microchips, their adoption package includes collars, tags, a leash, pet food, and general grooming for your future best friend.

Hey, cool cats and kittens! Azalea City Cat Coalition is a charity organization that runs a trap, neuter, return program and fosters and adopts out cats and kittens.

4. Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) is a great place to adopt a pet in Mobile

The Animal Rescue Foundation is offering $25 cat adoptions for September.

Due to COVID-19, ARF is currently operating by appointment only.

5. B&B Pet Stop Inc. has some adorable adoption options

Once a month, B&B Pet hosts an adoption event for cats and kittens from the Alabama Animal Welfare Coalition.
