The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is still handing out money for their Airport Improvement Funding Program.

This time—over $700,000 going to 13 different local airports across the Yellowhammer State. We’ve got the scoop on which ones, how much and what they’re using the funds for.

ALDOT announced the grants in early September, saying the money is going to small airports to help boost existing funds for much-needed projects.

Here’s a breakdown of each airport, how much money they’re getting from ALDOT and the matched funds from federal or local resources.

Bessemer Municipal Airport: airfield pavement maintenance
