New, full-time jobs are heading to Alabama. Ecore International, a manufacturing and recycling company, plans to invest $25.5 million to open a facility in Ozark. Keep reading to find out what this means for Dale County.

84 jobs coming to Dale County

A new manufacturing company is coming to Dale County with plans to use an existing building in Ozark for its facility. According to the Alabama Department of Commerce, the company plans to have 84 full-time positions. These jobs will pay an average annual salary of almost $42,500.

What is Ecore International?

Based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, this company uses reclaimed materials to make flooring and surface products. Ecore International is the largest converter of reclaimed rubber in the continent, mostly using recycled truck tires. Their products are sold to:

  • Fitness Centers
  • Hotels
  • Nursing homes
  • Recreation centers
  • Retailers
  • Schools
