The organization recently opened its first permanent office in downtown Montgomery, creating a bright, welcoming space built for collaboration and community impact.
A Space Built for Connection and Collaboration

The new office at 624 South Perry Street is more than just an address—it’s a statement. Designed with community connection in mind, the building offers shared office spaces for small nonprofits, training rooms for educational workshops, and flexible gathering areas for meetings and events.
Jannah Bailey, CEO of River Region United Way, calls the organization the “mothership” of nonprofit support.
“We’ve always been the connector—the support behind the scenes. Now we have a space that reflects that spirit. It’s not just for us—it’s for the entire community.”

Located in the heart of downtown Montgomery, the office places River Region United Way closer to the people and partners who fuel its work across Autauga, Elmore, Lowndes, Macon, and Montgomery counties.
The new space opens the door to collaboration, strategy, and action like never before.
A Legacy of Impact Across the River Region
For over a century, River Region United Way has been a vital force supporting essential services in health, education, and financial stability across the region. Its new home symbolizes a fresh chapter—one filled with greater visibility, accessibility, and momentum.
Bailey said this space was built for collaboration.
It’s not about the walls. It’s about what happens inside them.

The ribbon-cutting marks a new beginning, one where shared leadership and community connection will guide the path forward.
