Abbie Stockard named Grand Marshal for Children’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix

Abbie Stockard, Miss America 2025, will serve as the Grand Marshal for this year’s Children’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix.

The prestigious NTT INDYCAR SERIES event is scheduled from May 2 to May 4 at the renowned Barber Motorsports Park. 

Miss America Abbie Stockard embodies spirit of the race

As Grand Marshal, the Birmingham native and Auburn University senior will have the honor of giving the official command for drivers to start their engines and participate in pre-race ceremonies.

Stockard dedicated to promoting health and wellness

Stockard’s participation underscores the event’s dedication to promoting health and wellness, aligning with the mission of Children’s of Alabama to provide comprehensive care to children in need.

Stockard also champions:

• Cystic fibrosis research, raising over $200,000 for the cause
• National Brand Ambassador for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation 
• American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women initiative
